Everything you need to know about RevMine's revenue-backed token platform

💡 General / What is RevMine?

RevMine is a platform that allows businesses to create and manage their own branded tokens on the Solana blockchain. These tokens serve as loyalty rewards, customer engagement tools, and stakeholder incentives. Customers "mine" tokens through engagement, and the tokens gain value as your business grows through a burn mechanism tied to revenue.
When customers earn your tokens through engagement (purchases, referrals, reviews), they become invested in your success. As your business grows, scheduled token burns reduce supply, potentially increasing token value. This creates alignment—customers benefit when you succeed, reducing churn and increasing loyalty.
RevMine tokens are built on the Solana blockchain, so technically yes—they are crypto tokens. However, they function as internal loyalty rewards, not speculative assets. Tokens are earned through engagement (not purchased), have no external trading, and are redeemable for benefits within your platform. Think of it as blockchain-powered loyalty points.
No. RevMine handles all blockchain complexity behind the scenes. Customers see a simple balance in their account, earn tokens through normal activities, and redeem for benefits. No wallets, no gas fees, no seed phrases. The experience is identical to traditional loyalty points—just with blockchain benefits for you.
Traditional loyalty points have static value. RevMine tokens have dynamic value tied to your revenue through the burn mechanism. As your business grows, tokens become scarcer. This creates real incentive for customers to stay and help you grow—they benefit from your success through increased token value.
RevMine tokens are designed as internal loyalty rewards, not securities. They cannot be traded externally, have no cash-out value, and represent loyalty benefits only—similar to credit card points or airline miles. We recommend consulting your legal counsel for your specific use case and jurisdiction.
No. Tokens are redeemable only for benefits within your platform—discounts, features, access, merchandise, etc. This is intentional: it keeps value in your ecosystem, maintains regulatory compliance, and ensures the program functions as loyalty rewards rather than a financial instrument.
RevMine works well for any business with recurring customers: SaaS companies, subscription services, e-commerce, membership sites, online education, gaming, and service businesses. Any company experiencing churn and wanting to increase customer lifetime value can benefit from revenue-backed token economics.
Your token exists on the Solana blockchain independently. You retain full ownership and can continue operations with another provider or self-hosted solution. We provide full data export and 90 days notice. Enterprise customers can opt for on-premise deployment for complete independence.
Yes! Our Individual tier is completely free and includes token creation, basic mining widget, up to 100 token holders, and community support. It's perfect for testing the concept or small projects. Upgrade anytime as your needs grow.

đŸȘ™ Token Creation

Use the Token Builder in your dashboard. Enter your token name (e.g., "Acme Rewards"), symbol (e.g., "ACME"), upload a logo, set your total supply, and configure decimals. Click "Deploy" and your token is live on Solana within seconds. No coding required.
The symbol is a short identifier (2-10 characters) like stock tickers. For example, if your company is "Acme Corp," your symbol might be "ACME" or "ACM." It appears in wallets and transactions. Choose something memorable and unique to your brand.
Total supply is the maximum tokens that will ever exist (set at creation). Circulating supply is how many are currently distributed to users. Initially, all tokens are in your treasury. As you distribute rewards, circulating supply increases. Burns permanently reduce both.
Decimals determine fractional precision. With 2 decimals, you can have 1.50 tokens. With 6 decimals, you can have 1.000001 tokens. For most loyalty programs, 2-6 decimals work well. More decimals allow smaller rewards but can seem less tangible to users.
Yes, depending on your plan. Startup includes 1 token, Growth includes 3 tokens, Business includes 5 tokens, and Enterprise includes unlimited tokens. Multiple tokens are useful for different customer segments, product lines, or regional programs.
Your token is created on the Solana blockchain with metadata (name, symbol, logo). The total supply goes to your treasury wallet, controlled by RevMine on your behalf. You can then configure mining rewards, set up the widget, and start distributing tokens to customers.
Yes! Token metadata (name, symbol, logo, description) can be updated anytime through your dashboard. This is one of the benefits of Solana's metadata standard—you're not locked into initial choices. Only the total supply is immutable once set.
No. The total supply is fixed at creation—this is a feature, not a limitation. Fixed supply ensures scarcity and maintains the economic model. Plan your initial supply generously (millions or billions) to accommodate long-term growth without needing to mint more.
Tokens are created on the Solana blockchain using the SPL Token standard with Metaplex metadata. Solana offers fast transactions (400ms), low fees ($0.00025), and high throughput—ideal for frequent small reward distributions. You can test on devnet before going to mainnet.
Token creation is included in all plans (including free). RevMine covers the Solana network fees for deployment. There are no per-token fees or hidden costs. You only pay your monthly subscription based on your plan tier.

💳 Pricing & Payments

Plans start at $0/month (Individual), then $99/month (Startup), $299/month (Growth), $999/month (Business), and custom pricing for Enterprise. Each tier increases limits for employees, token holders, and features. Annual billing saves 20%.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) through Stripe. Enterprise customers can arrange invoicing and ACH transfers. We don't currently accept cryptocurrency for subscription payments.
Better—there's a free tier! The Individual plan costs $0/month forever, with full token creation and basic features. Test everything with real tokens on Solana devnet or mainnet. Upgrade only when you need more capacity or advanced features.
Each tier includes: Individual (1 employee, 100 holders), Startup (10 employees, 100 holders), Growth (50 employees, 1K holders), Business (500 employees, 10K holders), Enterprise (unlimited employees, 50K+ holders). Higher tiers add features like API access, white-labeling, and dedicated support.
Yes. Upgrade anytime—you'll be charged the prorated difference. Downgrade takes effect at your next billing cycle. If downgrading would exceed new tier limits (e.g., too many token holders), you'll need to stay on current tier or archive inactive accounts.
RevMine charges a small platform fee (default 3%) on mining reward distributions. This covers Solana network fees and platform operations. Enterprise customers can negotiate custom fee structures. There are no fees for token creation, burns, or dashboard access.
No. RevMine covers all Solana network fees (gas) for token operations. This is built into your subscription. You never need to hold SOL or manage crypto wallets. We handle all blockchain infrastructure costs.
We'll notify you and retry the payment over 7 days. If payment can't be processed, your account enters a grace period where existing tokens continue working but new operations are paused. Update your payment method in Settings to resume full access.
Yes! Annual billing saves 20% compared to monthly. For example, Growth is $299/month or $2,870/year (saves $718). Contact sales for Enterprise annual agreements with additional volume discounts.
Yes. Cancel anytime from your dashboard. You'll retain access until your current billing period ends. Your tokens remain on the blockchain—you can export data and continue with another solution or self-hosting. No cancellation fees.

👛 Wallets & Solana

No. RevMine manages all wallets on your behalf. You don't need to install Solflare, manage seed phrases, or understand blockchain. We provide a simplified dashboard where you see token balances and transactions without crypto complexity.
No. Customers see a simple token balance in their account—just like loyalty points. They don't interact with blockchain at all. RevMine creates custodial wallets behind the scenes, handling all the crypto infrastructure invisibly.
Solana is a high-performance blockchain with 400ms transactions and $0.00025 fees. It's ideal for loyalty rewards because you can do frequent small distributions cost-effectively. Unlike Ethereum (slow, expensive), Solana enables the volume of transactions a reward program needs.
Devnet is Solana's test network—tokens have no real value, perfect for testing. Mainnet is the production network with real tokens. Start on devnet to test your integration, then deploy to mainnet when ready. RevMine supports both.
RevMine manages the treasury wallet that holds your token supply. You control what happens through your dashboard—distributions, burns, rewards—and RevMine executes those operations. Enterprise customers can opt for self-custody with their own keys.
Yes! Every token and transaction is visible on Solana explorers like Solscan or Solana Explorer. Your dashboard provides direct links. This transparency is a key benefit—customers can verify token supply, burns, and distribution independently.
If Solana experiences downtime, token operations (distributions, burns) pause until the network recovers. Your token balances and data are preserved—they're on the blockchain. Solana has 99.9%+ uptime. The RevMine dashboard continues showing cached balances during outages.
By default, no—tokens are custodial within RevMine to maintain the loyalty program model. Enterprise customers can enable self-custody options where users can withdraw to personal Solana wallets, but this is typically disabled to keep tokens within your ecosystem.
No. RevMine covers all SOL costs for network transactions. You pay in USD through your subscription, and we handle the crypto infrastructure. You never need to buy, hold, or manage SOL.
Customer wallets are custodial accounts managed by RevMine with enterprise-grade security: encrypted key storage, HSM protection, and multi-signature controls for large operations. SOC 2 compliant infrastructure. Individual customer accounts are protected by your authentication system.

⛏ Mining Rewards & Distributions

Mining is how customers earn your tokens through engagement—not cryptocurrency mining with hardware. Customers "mine" by completing actions you define: making purchases, referring friends, leaving reviews, visiting daily, or any custom trigger. Each action awards tokens from your treasury.
In your dashboard, go to Mining > Reward Rules. Create rules like: "Purchase over $50 = 100 tokens" or "Referral signup = 500 tokens." Set daily/weekly limits, bonus multipliers, and eligibility criteria. Rules can be simple or complex with conditions.
Built-in triggers: purchases, account creation, referrals, daily login, profile completion, reviews, social shares, subscription renewal. Via API, you can trigger rewards for any custom action: completing courses, reaching milestones, community contributions, or any event in your system.
The mining widget is a JavaScript snippet you embed in your site. It displays the customer's token balance, recent rewards, and available actions. When customers complete rewarded actions, the widget shows an animation and updates their balance in real-time. One line of code to install.
Yes. Use the Distributions page to send tokens to multiple users at once. Upload a CSV with user IDs and amounts, or select user segments (e.g., "all users who purchased in January"). Bulk distributions are processed in batches and confirmed on-chain.
Mining is automatic rewards triggered by user actions (rule-based). Distributions are manual sends you initiate—like airdrops, bonuses, or promotional campaigns. Both move tokens from treasury to users, just with different triggers: automated rules vs. your manual action.
Mining rewards appear instantly in the UI (optimistic updates) and confirm on Solana within 1-2 seconds. Bulk distributions process in batches—hundreds of transfers complete in under a minute. Users see their balance update in real-time.
Yes. Set per-action limits (max 10 referrals/day), per-user limits (max 1,000 tokens/week), and global limits (max 100,000 tokens distributed/month). This prevents abuse and helps you manage token economics. Limits can be tiered by user level or plan.
RevMine charges 3% (default) on mining reward distributions. If a user earns 100 tokens, 3 tokens go to RevMine and 97 to the user. This covers blockchain fees and platform operations. The fee is configurable for Enterprise customers.
Yes. The widget and user dashboard show complete transaction history: when they earned tokens, what actions triggered rewards, and redemption records. This transparency builds trust and engagement. All data is also verifiable on the Solana blockchain.

đŸ”„ Token Burns

A burn permanently destroys tokens, reducing total supply. It's like a company doing a stock buyback—fewer tokens exist, potentially increasing value of remaining tokens. Burns are recorded on-chain and irreversible, providing transparent proof of supply reduction.
Burns tie token value to your business success. Common strategy: burn tokens equal to a percentage of revenue. As your business grows, more burns occur, supply decreases, and remaining tokens become more valuable. This rewards long-term customers who hold tokens.
In your dashboard, go to Burns > New Burn. Enter the amount to burn, add a note (e.g., "Q1 2025 revenue burn"), and confirm. The tokens are destroyed from your treasury. You can also schedule recurring burns (weekly, monthly) based on revenue metrics.
Yes. Connect your Stripe account and set burn rules like "Burn 1 token per $1 revenue" or "Burn 5% of token equivalent of monthly revenue." Burns execute automatically after each revenue event or on a schedule. Growth plan and above.
You can only burn tokens from your treasury by default. When users redeem tokens for benefits, those tokens return to treasury (or are burned, configurable). You cannot arbitrarily burn tokens users hold—that would destroy trust. Redemption burns are transparent and expected.
A burn schedule is a preset plan for regular burns: weekly (every Monday), monthly (1st of month), or custom intervals. Combined with revenue-based amounts, this creates predictable tokenomics. Customers can see upcoming scheduled burns, building anticipation and trust.
No. Burns are permanent and irreversible—that's the point. Once tokens are burned, they're gone forever, provably reducing total supply. This permanence is recorded on-chain and verifiable by anyone. Plan burns carefully; we require confirmation for large burns.
Burns are shown in the widget ("đŸ”„ 50,000 tokens burned this month!"), via email notifications (configurable), and in a public burn history page. You can make burns a marketing event—announce upcoming burns to drive engagement and highlight growing business success.
It depends on your tokenomics goals. Common approaches: burn 0.1-1% of supply monthly, or tie burns to revenue (1 token per $1-$10 revenue). Balance scarcity creation with having enough supply for future distributions. Start conservative—you can always burn more, never less.
Yes. Dashboard shows complete burn history with dates, amounts, notes, and blockchain transaction links. You can also generate burn reports for transparency pages or investor updates. All burns are permanently recorded on Solana and publicly verifiable.

💰 Platform Fees

RevMine charges: (1) Monthly subscription based on your plan tier, (2) Platform fee on mining distributions (default 3%). That's it. No token creation fees, no burn fees, no hidden costs. Blockchain transaction fees are covered by us.
When tokens are distributed via mining rewards, 3% goes to RevMine. Example: User earns 100 tokens → they receive 97 tokens, RevMine receives 3 tokens. The fee covers Solana network costs and platform operations. It's transparent and shown in transaction details.
You decide how to handle it. Default: fee comes from distribution (100 tokens distributed, user gets 97). Alternative: you cover it by distributing 103 tokens so user gets 100. Configure in Settings. Most businesses absorb the fee as cost of operations.
No. Token burns are free. The 3% fee only applies to mining distributions (treasury → users). Burns (treasury → destroyed) have no fee. This encourages burning and deflationary tokenomics.
No. When users redeem tokens for benefits, no RevMine fee applies. The fee is only on mining distributions (earning tokens). Redemption (spending tokens) is free. This incentivizes building a redemption ecosystem.
Yes. Enterprise customers can negotiate custom platform fee rates (below 3%), volume discounts, and alternative pricing structures. Contact sales to discuss your specific needs and transaction volumes.
Dashboard > Billing shows complete fee history: each distribution, the fee amount, and totals by period. You can export reports for accounting. Fees are also itemized in transaction details on the Distributions page.
No. Solana network fees ("gas") are included—RevMine covers them. The 3% platform fee is all-inclusive. You never see or pay separate blockchain fees. We absorb network costs as part of platform operations.
On Business and Enterprise plans, yes. You can set different fee rates for different tokens if you have multiple. This is useful if tokens have different use cases or economics. Contact support to configure per-token fees.
Tokens from platform fees go to RevMine's revenue wallet. We may hold, sell, or burn these tokens. This is separate from your token economics—fee tokens don't affect your circulating supply or treasury. It's purely RevMine's operational revenue.

🔒 Security & Account

Token treasury keys are stored in encrypted hardware security modules (HSMs). Multi-signature required for large operations. Infrastructure is SOC 2 compliant. Regular security audits by third parties. Your tokens are as secure as institutional-grade crypto custody.
RevMine uses passwordless authentication via email or SMS one-time codes. Enter your email/phone, receive a 6-digit code, enter it to log in. No passwords to remember or get stolen. Optional: enable authenticator app (TOTP) for additional security.
Our passwordless auth (email/SMS codes) is inherently two-factor—you need access to your email or phone. For additional security, enable authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) in Settings. Enterprise customers can require this for all team members.
You control team access via Settings > Team. Invite members by email, assign roles (Admin, Manager, Viewer), and revoke access anytime. Only people you explicitly invite can access your dashboard. Audit logs show all account activity.
Roles: Admin (full access including billing and team management), Manager (operations access—distributions, burns, mining rules), Viewer (read-only dashboard access). Enterprise plans can configure custom roles with granular permissions.
Yes. All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Database encryption with key rotation. Wallet keys in HSMs. We follow industry best practices for data protection. SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure.
Yes. We collect minimal data, provide data export and deletion on request, and offer data processing agreements (DPAs) for EU customers. You remain the data controller; RevMine is the processor. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Settings > Account > Delete Account. We'll export your data, provide instructions for token continuity (your tokens remain on blockchain), and permanently delete your RevMine account after 30-day grace period. Contact support if you need immediate deletion.
Your tokens exist on Solana independently of RevMine. Before deletion, you can transfer mint authority to your own wallet or another provider. We provide detailed handoff documentation. Tokens don't disappear—you just need another way to manage them.
RevMine stores minimal customer data: identifiers, token balances, and transaction history. We don't access or store sensitive customer information like emails or payment details unless you explicitly sync them. You control what customer data flows to RevMine.
